The name Vulturine Guineafowl, Acryllium vulturinum, obviously comes from its look. Brilliantly colored, they are spectacular guineafowl found in east and northern Kenya, but not in Masai Mara or Amboseli. They feed in large flocks during the day, rarely leaving the ground (this one is an exception).
